Lite-Kote™, Ragan & Massey's newest product line, is a variety of clover seeds.
Lite-Kote™ Clover is pre-inoculated, which means it already has a light coating of inoculant eliminating the need to inoculate the seed yourself—saving you time and money. Lite-Kote™ seeds are ready-to-plant with a live bacteria inoculant that is good for up to 18 months.
Unlike other pre-inoculated seeds, Lite-Kote™ contains no cheap or excessive coating material—our seeds contain less than 1% coating material. Other brands can contain up to 50% unnecessary coating material meaning you get less seed and more waste. When you purchse Lite-Kote™, you are getting over 99% seed.
Important Information
- This seed is treated with Rhizobium inoculant
- Store in a cool, dry place between 40–77°F (4–25°C) away from direct sunlight
- Plant seed prior to expiration date of inoculant on tag
- Re-inoculate seed prior to planting if inoculant has expired
- Ensure planter is clean and drill tubes are properly adjusted for optimum seed placement and calibrated for proper seeding rate prior to planting
- Empty seed boxes at the conclusion of planting each day
- Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact and inhalation
- The use of a dust mask, safety glasses, and protective gloves is recommended
