How It Works
Compare-N-Save Weed Killer for Lawns works on both cool and warm season grasses, including Bahia, common, Bermuda, bluegrass, centipede, fescue, ryegrass, St. Augustine and zoysia. Although it is rainfast in an hour, it is most effective if applied when no rain is forecasted for at least 24 hours. Also, refrain from mowing for at least two days after application. Since this product kills everything BUT grass, do not use it in flower or vegetable beds or near ornamental plantings.
Compare-N-Save Weed Killer for Lawns can be used as both a spot treatment or to treat an entire lawn. For spot treatments, use a pressure or trigger sprayer and spray the center of the weed. For an entire lawn, use a hose-end sprayer specifically-made for lawn-use. Keep in mind, the mixture amounts vary for full-lawn applications depending on the type of grass you’re treating. Cool season grasses, bluegrass, fescue and ryegrass, requires more product than warm-season grasses like Bahia, Bermuda, zoysia, centipede and St Augustine grasses.
